My Trip to Bangkok (Recount Text)

An Unforgettable Experience

          Last holiday, I and 11 selected students together with 5 teachers were given a mandate from school to visit our new partnership in Thailand. It was Sainampeung School.

         We visited Thailand for about four days. It was begun on 21^st of June 2011. We left Purwokerto to Jakarta by Bima Train. Arriving in Jakarta, then we went to Soekarno-Hatta Airport. And we took off to Bangkok for three hours. In Suvaranbhumi Airport, we met some Sainampeung students who picked us up there. Then we intended to the hostel.

          During 4 days our activity there, we had the opportunity for two days to visit some Tourist Object around Bangkok. First day, we studied in class and shared some experiences with Sainampeung students and after school our activities were concentrically to Emporium Mall Foodhall, and Baiyoke Tower (the highest tower in Bangkok). While the second day, we still studied in class, before in the the night we got on the BTS (Bangkok Train Sky) and also got on the underground monorail and then we had dinner in a luxurious restaurant. 

           

          Whereas the third and the fourth day, we were not still studied in class. And we had a good time to visit many interesting places around Bangkok. Third day, we were given a chance to visit The Ministry of Education, it was my precious moment ever. After that, we went to Rose Garden, and Chao Samran Beach. At the fourth day, we visited MatthayomWatThattong School, the Sainampeung’s partnership, then Grand Palace, and the last was Madame Tussaud Museum.

          At the last night, we didn’t spend the night to sleep. But we spent the night to take a walk around Sainampeung area, to take some pictures with some Sainampeung Students who guided us during our activity there and also joked with them. At this moment, I felt very sad because it was my last chance to enjoy the beauty events with Sainampeung students. Eventhough, I was very confident that I might be going to meet them again, either short or long time, anywhere, anytime.
