Facilites in SMPN 2 Purwokerto (Report Text)

       A huge facility can improve student’s quality. Like in the common school, SMP 2 Purwokerto also provides so many facilities that can let everyone come to enjoy the marvelous of this school. Facilities in the school are so complete so that the students feel enjoy teaching-learning activity.

What facilities does it have?

From the front part until the back of the school and from side to side in this school one can find all of qualified facilities in the whole area of the school. But some parts in this school are commonly contained in the common school. Such as, an auditorium to conduct some kind of meeting, counseling room for the students to get counsel and guidance from the teachers, staff room, principle room, twenty four classrooms, bicycle garage, toilets, OSIS room and scout ware. There is also a Mosque, the most important place for the moslem to pray, two ICT rooms, a linguistic room, also a library which is completed with AC and the floor covered with red carpet make the students enjoy reading many collections of books -the new or old one- cozily. The school also completed with some fields, like field ceremony which can be used as badminton field, a basketball field which can be used as tennis field, and a volley field in a soccer field.

Besides those common things, the students can also use some different thing compared with other general school. A fabulous canteen with a clean condition makes the customers get a good appetite while enjoying some foods from 4 food stands. Another canteen is honesty canteen. There, the students can pay the thing the students buy and get the change by themselves. Karawitan room, contained with Javanese traditional instrument. And Wi-Fi, every students should have used this thing to do the task or just browsing the internet.

Teaching-learning activity is very interesting because supported by good qualified teachers and the equipment’s. In every class all the thing students do will be recorded with a CCTV. The students also look really comfortable because they enjoy the best atmosphere there with an AC and two nice fans. The teaching-learning activity also propped by an LCD Projector. A weird thing is in every class is completed by an antique TV. Almost the students feel disappointed with the TV because it is never used.

Everyone should understand that SMPN 2 Purwokerto has compatible facilities because of its title, RSBI. Those facilities are not only used to attract the parents to force their children to study there, but also to improve students’ quality in order to prepare their future to be able to compete in throughout the world.
